Colby Sullivan has been surrounded by the insurance industry all his life.  He is following in his father’s footsteps in making his career as a Property/Casualty insurance specialist.  Colby’s insurance career started with one of the top 10 local brokers in Kansas City where he concentrated his expertise in the high-risk program sector.

Colby brings a unique understanding of the Commercial Property Casualty business to his clients, because he understands what specific value added services they deserve.

Colby graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Organizational Communications and a minor in Finance. He attended MSU on a full scholarship for golf where he was a four-year letterman.  Colby lives with his wife in Leawood, KS.

During the spring and early summer of 2004, I was charged with the process of comparing health insurance providers with the hope of obtaining competitive insurance rates for our employee company. Matt Weaver of Power Group was one of several agents that provided health insurance bids. Of all the companies we sought information from, Power Group provided the best selection of services available for little or no cost that could benefit our corporation.

After becoming our agent of record, Matt began to negotiate on our behalf to lower the 39% increase in rates that our health insurance carrier was proposing. We did end up switching to another insurance provider with a more comprehensive plan. However, Matt managed to bring us an offer from our original company with about a 10% rate of increase.
