Charles joined Power Group as a consultant in 2008. He has primarily focused on developing programs for the wholesale distribution and real estate industries.
Charles began his business career with the marketing division of Seagram Distillers Corporation. Continuing to be involved in the beverage industry, Charles joined Standard Wholesale Liquor Company in Kansas City, MO. and became President in 1963. In 1968 he was instrumental in merging his firm with General Wholesale Liquor Company located in Kansas City, Missouri. He became Chairman of the Board of the merged peroration, General Standard, Inc. and remained in that position until he sold his 50% interest in 1981. Shortly thereafter, he became a General Partner in Equity Analysts, a real estate investment firm.
During the last 18 years, Charles, in association with Fred Embry, has represented beverage distributors and real estate development and property management firms in the Greater Kansas City Metro, Texas, California, New Jersey and Arizona.
Charles graduated from the Wharton School of Finance with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics.
