Allan is an insurance broker who helps businesses develop innovative solutions to their property and casualty risk management programs. His expertise lies in the realm of assisting companies in enhancing their risk management program with strategic risk control strategies and specialized coverage design, and by combining this with the ability to identify insurance carriers that are familiar with risk transfer for their particular industry.

Allan has 15+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance business. He initially worked for Federated Insurance as a Marketing Representative for over 12 years. With Federated he provided property and casualty insurance program management and evaluation and related risk management services to a wealth of clients. In 2005, he started his own agency, focusing on business insurance and built it from the ground up. Allan was responsible for the firm’s corporate and brokerage service operations as well as consulting with many of the firm’s larger clients in the area of property and casualty insurance and risk management. In September of 2008, he successfully transitioned the agency and business into the Power Group family.

Allan received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Kansas State University in 1992. He is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, currently sits on the Lee’s Summit Economic Development Council Advisory Board, and is a member of the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce. He has previously served on several insurance related boards in the past and has been a speaker at various state and national meetings regarding insurance products and coverages.

Allan’s interests include coaching various youth sports, hunting and spending time with family and friends. Allan currently resides in Lee’s Summit, MO with his wife, Vicki, and daughter, Taylor.
