Matt has been with Power Group since 2002. He has been one of Power Group’s top producers for the last several years with over 100 group clients throughout the country utilizing his services. Matt specializes in enterprise risk consulting with a focus on core benefit packages, compliance solutions, disease management, and tailor made wellness programs.

Matt is a leading producer with Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Coventry, United Healthcare, Humana, Principal, Aetna, and Cigna. Matt will identify and recommend options from these numerous offerings to create an integrated, comprehensive solution that matches the uniqueness and strategies of your organization.

After taking a hard look at your past performance, present situation and future objectives, he will create a three to five year forward looking strategic benefit plan. He will share industry trend projections with you and discuss how to prepare today for changes that will affect your plan in the future.

Matt works very closely with his account management team in each market segment. It truly is a team approach. You will find each member of his team as engaged with a long-term planning process as they are with the day to day needs of your employees. Matt’s goal is to be the first phone call his client makes when they need a solution to any of their benefit concerns.

Matt received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Prior to joining Power Group Companies, Matt practiced employment law with a large local insurance defense firm. Matt is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri.

Matt is currently a member of the Centurions Leadership Program, the OE Ellis Society, the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, and the Society for Human Resources Management. Matt lives in Leawood, Kansas with his wife, Sheila, and two sons, Hudson and Paxton.
