Jeff has been with Power Group since 1995. He is one of Power Group’s most senior producers with over 100 group clients in the Midwest that utilize his services. Jeff’s focus is privately held companies with 25 to 1000 employees. Within that market size, he is a leading producer with Blue Cross, Coventry, United Healthcare, Humana, Aetna and Cigna. Jeff also has a tremendous amount of experience working with smaller regional TPAs and national firms.

When consulting with his clients, Jeff understands the importance of drilling down to the root causes of rising claim cost. Utilizing very sophisticated claims software, Jeff can identify the real drivers of rising medical premiums. Every aspect of the plan from network discounts, emergency room utilization, and high claim management will be scrutinized. The ultimate goal is for every client to control cost without switching carriers every couple of years.

Along with benefit consulting, Jeff works directly with companies regarding federal compliance issues. Through a step by step audit, implementation and training process, Jeff helps his clients stay in compliance with various Human Resource regulations. Some areas covered are EEOC, FMLA, Sexual Harassment and COBRA. Jeff believes strongly in customer service and satisfaction. He can provide client testimonials and references upon request.

Jeff is active in local organizations like Big Brother Big Sister and Christ Community Church.

Prior to joining Power Group, Jeff attended the University of California-Davis and received his degree in Economics. He now lives in Leawood with his wife Heather and children Dylan, Anna and Kaitlyn.
