Telephone Sales Representative- Employee Benefits

Power Group Companies is currently hiring for the position of Telemarketer in our Health and Welfare division.  This is a part-time position with the potential to evolve into a full-time position.

Job Duties

  • Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone in order to solicit and obtain company information relevant to group health benefits
  • Obtain prospect information and enter data into the computer
  • Maintain records of contacts
  • Schedule appointments for sales consultants to meet with prospective clients

Requirements

  • Proficiency in documenting and recording information through Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Proficiency/experience in ACT! preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to successfully obtain necessary information
  • Excellent customer and personal service skills with the ability to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrate ability to instill confidence and comfort with prospects and/or clients
