Power Group Companies is currently hiring for the position of Account Manager in our benefits division. This individual will work with clients, insurance carriers, and other involved parties in a service role.
Job Duties
- Provide financial reporting and claims analysis to Account Executive
- Prepare RFP and market all lines of benefits
- Assist clients and employees with service issues and day to day requests
- Maintain records and prepare client communications
- Coordinate employee communications for enrollment
- Participate in group meetings, industry seminars, and training programs
- Update clients on current legislative changes and developments
- Develop rapport with carrier partners and outside vendors
- Support Account Executives and assist with special projects
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Must obtain and preserve Life & Health License
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year experience on health and welfare lines required
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility, both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to instill confidence and comfort with clients
- Strong project management, organizational skills and time management skills to prioritize workload and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to travel based on client and business needs
